VODF
A division of INFOSPAN, LLC
Consistent with its commitment to identifying next steps and new directions in organizational development and the applied behavioral sciences (OD/ABS), the VODF is offering its first in a series of Virtual learning Events (VLE™). These events will showcase pioneering OD/ABS professionals who were among the first to utilize the internet and the web to provide consulting services. The VODF will also feature innovative industry leaders from a variety of related and nonrelated professions, who can enrich
our perspective. This event is designed for OD/ABS professionals, leaders and business owners.
Our first VLE™, that takes place on Saturday July 11 from 1:00 – 3:00pm, will feature the pioneering work of Chris Bernal, a class 24 AU/NTL graduate, and his late father Miguel Bernal, PhD a Sloan and Ford Fellow MIT graduate. Together they developed the Management Feedback System™ (MFS). In its time, the MFS™ was a unique, powerful communications and coaching tool for improving the effectiveness of leaders of people and managers of performance, executives, team leaders and supervisors. Chris and Miguel were also interested in advancing the OD/ABS profession as much as they were concerned with improving leadership by shortening the cycle time leaders had to endure before getting feedback on their performance after an assessment.
At the end of the VLE™, participants will:
- Know the key principles and practices of the MFS™ process
- Know what the distinctive features are that differentiates a VLE™ from a webcast or webinar
- Know the specific reasons the VLE™ advantages OD/ABS professionals and business owners and
- leaders, who must communicate virtually with individuals and teams
- Learn the three critical subsystems that supports and sustains an organization’s distinctive competence
- Receive a copy of the latest version of the VLE™ Protocol, version 1.2
Bonus long term takeaway:
- Participants will engage in a group self-directed experiential learning process wherein they identify those learning outcomes, particularly relevant for them in their work environment. This will be accomplished by participating in a Virtual Action Planning Support Group (VAPSG) that provides support and remains intact for a duration determined by each group.
